At NTC, occupational health and safety has not only been a top priority since our first ISO 45001 certification in 2021 - it is a daily requirement for us at zero tolerance. Our goal is to maximise safety - for our technicians on construction sites, our colleagues in the field and office and, above all, for our customers. That's why we once again implemented numerous measures in 2024 to continuously improve occupational safety and awareness.
Another important building block was the implementation of SCC certification for our employees who work as project managers, site managers or technicians on construction sites. This "Safety Certificate Contractors" is particularly important for our activities in Europe. It is aimed at all employees working on construction sites or on external projects and ensures that all necessary safety regulations and standards are consistently adhered to on European construction sites. The personal certification is based on practical topics such as occupational health and safety requirements, hazardous substance management and risk minimisation - for an even safer working environment.
In addition, we have specifically looked at the sources of danger that we focus on: Working on electrical systems, lifting heavy loads and handling hazardous substances. We have taken a preventative approach here - with technical aids, regular instructions and a stronger safety culture through safety talks. We have also improved our reporting system so that potential risks can be recognised and acted upon even more quickly.
The results speak for themselves: we have been able to further reduce the frequency of accidents in the company, bringing us a big step closer to our goal of UHA=0 - and this also shows us that we are on the right track. Our goal is simple and remains so: We want everyone to be able to work healthily and safely - every day!
